Detailed Steps for Making Sichuan Yogurt
Pour the milk into a container, a total of 4 boxes of milk.
Add a small bag of bacteria powder, 1g (if using less milk, adjust the amount of bacteria powder accordingly), stir continuously until well mixed, about 5 minutes.
Place the prepared mixture in a yogurt maker, then wait for fermentation for about 8 hours. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can shorten the fermentation time. However, I prefer my yogurt thicker, so I ferment it for 8 hours. The taste is really similar to the ones sold in supermarkets. If you find it too sour, you can add honey or sugar according to your preference. I personally enjoy the acidity and only added some jam, which tastes great~
