Detailed Steps for Making Simple Version of Silky Tofu Pudding
Soak 300g of dried soybeans, brown sugar to taste, and 15g of agar powder.
Put the soybeans in a blender, add half of the water.
Blend until it becomes a coarse mixture.
Add the remaining water and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a cloth bag, squeeze the soybean milk into a pot, leaving the soybean residue in the bag.
Add agar powder, stir well, and slowly bring to a boil over high heat. (Stir occasionally)
Remove from heat and let it cool.
After cooling, strain the mixture into a bowl or container, cover it, and refrigerate overnight. (Make sure to refrigerate for a longer time, unlike me)
Dissolve brown sugar (some call it black sugar or red sugar) in warm water.
Remove the tofu pudding from the refrigerator and peel off the top layer.
Scoop the desired amount into a small bowl, drizzle with some brown sugar water, and it’s ready to serve!
Enjoy your Silky Tofu Pudding! Let’s dig in!
