Steps to Cook Snow Pear, Lily and Bird’s Nest Soup
Soak the bird’s nest in water until it becomes soft and tear it into strips. I usually start soaking it before going to bed and it can be stewed the next morning, about six to seven hours later.
Wash the snow pear with the skin on and cut it into small pieces. Wash the fresh lily and peel it into individual petals.
Put the snow pear and bird’s nest into a stewing pot and stew for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, add the fresh lily and stew for another 20 minutes.
Add honey before serving. The goji berries on top are just for decoration.
