Son’s Birthday – Book Cake Cooking Steps
Let the rectangular sponge cake cool upside down.
Cut the cake in half.
Stack the two cake pieces, trim the edges, slant the left and right sides, and create a shallow groove in the middle. (Because the cake is too small, only the top piece needs a slight slant.)
Whip the whipping cream with sugar until stiff.
Place the intact cake piece on a cake board, thinly spread a layer of cream, and top with diced strawberries and kiwi.
Cover with the other cake piece.
Pour in the cream and smooth it out.
Sift the remaining cream with cocoa powder, mix well, and transfer to a piping bag.
Use the cocoa cream and gelatin to create borders and write words on the cake.
Cut and enjoy!
