1. Prepare all the ingredients. Chop the garlic and shallots into a paste. Bruise the lemongrass to release its flavor. Clean the squid and remove its innards.
2. Heat up some oil in a clay pot. Add the garlic, shallots, and dried chili peppers and stir-fry until fragrant.
3. Add the squid, lemongrass, and sunflower oil and stir-fry.
