Prepare the vermicelli.
Rinse and soak in cold water.
Prepare the fresh shrimp.
Clean and devein.
Peel and clean the squash.
Cut into chunks.
Finely chop scallions, ginger, and garlic.
Boil water in a pot.
Blanch the squash in boiling water.
Place the blanched squash at the bottom of the pot.
Remove the soaked vermicelli.
Spread on top of the squash.
