Detailed Steps for Cooking Steamed Okra Egg
Take three fresh, room temperature, 60-65g eggs and beat them.
Add 270ml of warm water at around 36 degrees, add salt to taste, and continue stirring. Sift 2-3 times to remove egg strands and foam.
Blanch the okra in boiling water for two minutes, then remove, drain, slice, and add to the egg mixture.
Cover the surface with plastic wrap, poke a few small holes in the wrap. Boil a pot of water in advance, place the container on the steamer. Steam time depends on the thickness of the container. Generally, steam in a regular porcelain bowl for 8 minutes. This time, with a thicker container, steam for 12 minutes. After the time is up, turn off the heat and let it sit for 3 minutes.
Finished product. Season with sesame oil and soy sauce to taste. Smooth and delicious, pleasing to the eye!
