Steps for cooking Steamed Oysters with Garlic and Vermicelli
Chop the garlic, scallion whites, and dried chili pepper and set aside.
Soak the vermicelli in hot water until soft, add a little salt and mix well, then place in a dish.
Place the washed and drained oysters on top of the vermicelli, and sprinkle a little salt on top of the oysters.
Then layer the garlic, scallion whites, and dried chili pepper on top of the oysters.
Add enough water to a pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then place the vermicelli and oysters in the pot, cover and steam over high heat for 8-10 minutes.
After steaming, drizzle with soy sauce, sprinkle with scallion greens, and pour hot oil over the top before serving.
