Detailed Steps for Cooking Steamed Pork Ribs with Rice Flour
Soak the pork ribs in water for 15 minutes to remove the blood.
Chop the scallions, ginger, and garlic, and set aside.
Mix 2 tablespoons of Doubanjiang, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, a little sugar, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, and a little white pepper powder together. Add the chopped scallions, ginger, and garlic, and mix well.
Drain the water from the pork ribs and mix them with the seasoning sauce. Marinate for 1 hour (marinating overnight is even better).
Cut the potatoes into chunks.
Arrange the potatoes in a steaming basket.
Add a little oil to the steamed rice flour, add water, and mix well. Coat the marinated pork ribs with the rice flour.
Pour the remaining seasoning sauce over the potatoes.
Place the rice flour-coated pork ribs on top of the potatoes.
Cover the steaming basket and steam over high heat for 1 hour.
When done, sprinkle with chopped scallions. Enjoy the delicious steamed pork ribs!
