Detailed Steps for Cooking Sweet Taste – Sweet Potato Pudding
Prepare the Ingredients
Beat the Eggs and set aside
Peel and dice the sweet potatoes
Boil in water for 10 minutes
Remove and set aside
In a separate pot, add milk and sugar
Heat on low until sugar melts, then turn off the heat
After sweet potatoes cool, add them to the pudding bottle (I used slightly larger sweet potatoes, about 140g, but 120g is more suitable)
Add cooled milk mixture to the beaten eggs
Mix the two together evenly
Strain the egg-milk mixture through a sieve
Pour the strained liquid into the pudding bottle, filling it about 90%, as my sweet potatoes were slightly larger, the bottle was almost full
Place the pudding mixture in a pot of cold water, steam over medium-high heat for 8 minutes after the water boils
After 8 minutes, when you open the lid, it should have expanded, luckily it didn’t overflow
Remove and let it cool, then refrigerate for 2 hours. Before serving, take it out to warm up. Of course, if you prefer it as a cold treat, you can take it out and enjoy it directly, but I usually avoid eating it that way
