Detailed steps for cooking Taoguo Yin’er Zaojiaomi
Ingredients as shown. I used Yunnan single-clipped Job’s tears, which have a high soaking rate. 10g can produce a lot.
Rinse the Job’s tears and soak them in water overnight.
Soak the peach gum in water overnight.
Soak the silver ear fungus for two hours.
Trim the yellow part at the root of the soaked silver ear fungus, wash it, tear it into small pieces and put it in a stewing pot. Rinse the peach gum and put it in the stewing pot. Put the Job’s tears in the stewing pot along with the water used to soak them.
Add an appropriate amount of water.
Turn on the sweet dessert mode of the electric stewing pot and stew for 4 hours in a water bath.
Add an appropriate amount of rock sugar about 30 minutes before the program ends and stew for another 30 minutes. It can be eaten hot or chilled!
