Steps to Make Taro and Red Bean Sweet Rolls
Prepare the ingredients.
Sift the glutinous rice flour through a sieve.
Add water.
Stir the batter until well mixed.
Microwave for 1 minute, stir, and then microwave for another 50 seconds until fully cooked.
When the glutinous rice dough is no longer hot, knead in the butter.
The dough is very sticky, so repeatedly lift and drop it to make it more elastic.
Dust the surface of the dough with cooked glutinous rice flour.
Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape.
Squeeze a line of taro filling onto one end of the dough.
Add a line of red bean and lotus seed filling.
Add another line of taro filling on top and smooth it out with a spoon.
Roll up the dough tightly from the end with the filling, making the tail end thinner.
Roll tightly and pinch the end to seal it.
Roll the sweet roll in cooked soybean flour to coat the surface.
