Detailed Steps for Making Taro Sago Pudding
All ingredients: Taro paste, Sago pearls, Milk, Strawberry jam, QQ sugar, White agar.
Dissolve 1 spoon of white agar in water and set aside.
Boil water in a pot, add in the pre-cooked sago pearls, mix well, then add 1 spoon of strawberry jam and the dissolved white agar, stir until well combined.
Pour the well-mixed sago pearls into a container, let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 1 hour, leaving a small amount of liquid is preferable.
Heat QQ sugar with a little water until melted to make syrup, set aside.
Blend taro paste with milk in a blender until smooth, then add the QQ sugar syrup and mix well.
Take out the cooled sago pudding, pour the taro paste mixture in, remove air bubbles, then refrigerate (chill for at least 5 hours).
Unmold the chilled taro sago pudding by running a knife along the edges and invert onto a plate.
This creamy dessert has the aroma and smoothness of ice cream without the cream.
