Steps for making Teriyaki Pork Rice Bowl
Place the pork tenderloin on a cutting board.
Use a fork to poke the pork tenderloin all over, like it’s your boss who doesn’t give you a raise but asks you to work overtime. Keep poking until it’s covered in holes.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the pork tenderloin until both sides are golden brown. Use a fork to poke it again.
Mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce in a small bowl. Add a little warm water and mix well. Pour the sauce over the pork tenderloin and sprinkle with pepper. Turn down the heat and let the sauce cook until it’s reduced by half.
Slice the cucumber.
Take the pork tenderloin out of the pan and slice it.
Put the rice in a bowl and press it down slightly. Invert the bowl onto a plate. Arrange the cucumber slices around the edge of the plate, place the sliced pork tenderloin on top of the rice, and pour the remaining teriyaki sauce over the pork. Enjoy!
