Prepare the ingredients for the squares, including 40g of sugar and cornstarch each, one box of milk, and 100ml of whipping cream.

Steps for Cooking Three-Color Milk Squares

Prepare a heat-resistant container, such as a glass container with a lid, and spread a layer of coconut flakes on the bottom to facilitate demolding after cooling.

Steps for Cooking Three-Color Milk Squares

Mix the cornstarch with 80g of milk until well combined.

Pour the remaining milk, whipping cream, and granulated sugar into a pot, and stir while cooking until the sugar dissolves.

When the liquid in the pot boils, pour in the cornstarch mixture and stir quickly. In just a few seconds, the liquid will become thick and sticky.

Steps for Cooking Three-Color Milk Squares

Pour the thick milk mixture into the heat-resistant container, shake it a few times to distribute it evenly, and use a spoon to smooth the surface. Let it cool, and then refrigerate it overnight.

The refrigerated milk mixture has solidified. Use a demolding knife to scrape around the edges, and then invert it onto a cutting board. It will slide out of the container on its own. Cut it into evenly sized squares.

Steps for Cooking Three-Color Milk Squares

Put the coconut flakes, matcha powder, and cocoa powder into separate small bowls, and roll the cut squares in them to coat them with powder.

These squares have beautiful colors and rich flavors. The coconut flavor is traditional, the matcha flavor is slightly bitter, and I personally prefer the cocoa flavor.
