Detailed Steps for Making Tofu Salad
Main Ingredients: 1 block of tofu, a small amount of shredded cabbage, and shredded carrots. Seasonings: Minced garlic, a small amount of jalapenos, 2 dried red peppers, a pinch of salt, a dash of sesame oil, a pinch of MSG, a splash of vinegar. If you have scallions, you can add them, but I omitted them.
Spread shredded vegetables on the bottom of the plate.
Cut tofu into slices or cubes as desired, I sliced it and arranged it on top of the shredded vegetables. Sprinkle some salt on the tofu.
Heat oil in a pan, sauté minced garlic, chopped jalapenos, and dried red peppers until fragrant.
Pour the fragrant garlic, dried red peppers, chopped jalapenos, and hot oil over the tofu. Then sprinkle some MSG and vinegar on top.
It’s ready to be served. Simple, right?
