Prepare syrup by putting granulated sugar into a milk pot
Add hot water, stir with an egg beater until sugar granules completely dissolve, cool to body temperature before use
Place low-gluten flour, salt, baking powder in a mixing bowl
Add chilled butter from the refrigerator to the center of the dry ingredients, knead with hands while allowing the flour to cover the butter
Continue kneading until the butter forms rice-sized grains, then cover the butter with flour until the mixture turns a pale yellow color and has a loose, crumbly texture
Create a well in the center of the mixture, pour in the syrup
Do not mix all ingredients at once, start mixing from the center, then scrape down the sides of the flour gradually as you mix
Once all ingredients have a sticky consistency, gently knead the dough into a ball with both hands
After the dough is fully combined, place it in a plastic wrap bag, roll it out into a 3mm thick sheet, refrigerate for 30 minutes to stabilize the dough texture
Take out the chilled dough, cut a small portion to make colored icing, tear the dough into small pieces in a bowl, add a little cold water
Stir into a paste
Add food coloring, mix well
The colored icing is ready as shown in the picture
Take out the chilled dough sheet, use cookie cutters to create shapes
Place the stamp firmly on the cookie dough
Take a small amount of pink icing, place it on the stamp, spread evenly with a spatula
Place the stamped cookies on a baking tray in a preheated oven
