Steps to Make Tomato Sauce
Ripe tomatoes, lemon, and yellow rock sugar.
Cut a cross on the top of the tomato and blanch in boiling water for 1 minute.
The skin will come off easily.
Cut into small pieces.
Put into a blender.
Blend for half a minute.
Pour the tomato juice into a rice cooker, add rock sugar and cook together.
Remove the seeds from half a lemon and squeeze out the juice.
When the tomato sauce thickens, add the lemon juice and continue to cook until it becomes sticky.
When hot, pour into a clean glass jar, cover and turn upside down to create a vacuum seal. Store in the refrigerator after it cools.
Sweet and sour, very delicious, and the color is beautiful. Homegrown ingredients really do taste different.
