Steps to Make Two-Tone Towel Cake Roll
1. Separate egg whites and yolks, place egg whites in a clean container, add sugar in three portions, beat until stiff peaks form.
Add sugar to egg yolks, beat until slightly white, add oil in two portions, beat until well combined.
Add water, mix well.
Sift in cake flour.
Fold in gently.
Take a spoonful of egg white mixture and fold in gently.
Pour the mixed batter into the remaining egg whites.
Fold until well combined.
Divide the mixed batter into two portions, add matcha powder to one portion.
Quickly fold in.
Transfer the two different colored batters into piping bags.
Pipe onto a greased baking sheet in several rounds.
Place in a preheated oven, bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
Whipped cream with sugar until stiff peaks form, spread on the cake.
Roll up, let it set slightly, then serve.
