Prepare the oranges and eggs.
Wash the oranges, rub them on a cutting board to separate the flesh, then cut off the tops.
Scoop out the flesh inside.
Shape the orange halves into desired shapes.
Put the flesh into a blender.
Add some water.
Blend into a puree, heat to around 35°C and set aside.
Beat the eggs, add a little sugar.
Add a little salt.
Strain the orange juice from the puree.
Stir the juice into the egg mixture.
Repeat straining a few times, this process requires patience, but when making a dessert for your loved one, the effort is worth it, and the smoothness of the cake will be evident in the straining process.
Pour the strained egg mixture into the orange halves, filling them up to 2/3 full.
Place the cut orange peel on top.
Steam over high heat for 20 minutes.
