Detailed Steps for Making Vanilla Waffles

Add whipped egg whites in two batches to 5, and mix well.

Add an appropriate amount of sesame seeds and mix well with black sesame seeds.

Put 20g of granulated sugar, oil, and fresh milk into the container with egg yolks, and mix well with a rubber spatula.

Sift cake flour into 3.

Fold gently with a rubber spatula, cutting evenly (avoid stirring in circles to prevent gluten formation), and set aside.

Add cream of tartar to the egg whites, beat until soft peaks form, then add 10g of sugar and continue beating until small ridges appear, then add another 10g of sugar (more sugar can be added if desired).

Beat until stiff peaks form, or until it reaches a slightly flowing consistency (somewhere between wet and dry). Preheat the electric waffle maker.

Add whipped egg whites in two batches to 5, and mix well.

Add an appropriate amount of sesame seeds and mix well with black sesame seeds.

Lightly grease with some vegetable oil.

Scoop with a regular soup spoon, one at a time.

Place one on each side, cover, and cook until no more steam escapes. For a darker color, adjust the temperature to level 5 and extend the cooking time as needed. I usually bake for about 8 minutes per batch.

They’re ready!

Top with some ice cream, enjoy with a homemade Earl Grey milk tea, hold a book in your hands, and you’ll know that feeling!
