Steps to Make Veggie Salad
Blanch the lettuce leaves with hot water and flatten them in the middle
Evenly spread the three lettuce leaves in a bowl
Remove the outer strings and old skin from the celery with a knife
Dice the carrots and celery
Dice the potatoes slightly larger than the carrots and celery
Boil a small pot of water with a pinch of salt
Blanch the diced carrots and celery in the pot for about 2 minutes, then remove
Blanch the diced potatoes for 5 minutes, then remove
Place all the diced vegetables on the lettuce leaves
Cook and peel the egg, then place it on top of the vegetables
Chill the egg in cold water
Peel and slice the egg in half, then place it on top of the diced vegetables
Finally, drizzle with salad dressing and it’s ready to serve
