Watermelon Jelly Cooking Steps
Prepare half a watermelon.
Remove the flesh of the watermelon, add 20g of powdered sugar, and blend together in a food processor. (Do not discard the watermelon rind)
Strain the blended watermelon juice through a sieve to remove the watermelon seeds.
Soak 15g of gelatin powder in 50g of cold water for 20 minutes.
Place the softened gelatin powder over hot water, stirring until the gelatin powder completely dissolves into a gelatin liquid.
Once the gelatin liquid has cooled, take out 350g of watermelon juice and mix it with the gelatin liquid thoroughly.
Pour the watermelon juice back into the watermelon rind.
Seal with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours until set.
Remove the chilled watermelon jelly, cut into pieces, and garnish with black sesame seeds or watermelon seeds for decoration.
