Cut the beef into chunks, blanch with ginger and spring onion.
Cut the white radish into chunks. Peel and cut the broccoli stems.
Marinate the diced radish and broccoli stems with salt.
Wash the blanched beef and the rice including glutinous rice.
Once the water in the pot boils, add the beef and rice. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat.
It will take about forty minutes to an hour. Ten minutes before the congee is fully cooked, add the cleaned diced radish, turn off the heat, add chopped cilantro, season with salt.
