Detailed Steps for Cooking White Radish Stewed Lamb
Ingredients: Lamb, wash and cut the lamb into pieces, soak in water to remove blood, then drain.
Ingredients: White radish.
Seasonings: Ginger slices, star anise, cinnamon, bay leaves, fructus amomi, orange peel.
Wash the white radish, peel it, and cut it into chunks.
Heat oil in a clay pot, stir-fry the ginger slices until fragrant.
Add the lamb.
Add soy sauce, white sugar, cooking wine, stir-fry until colored.
Add all the spices.
Add enough water to cover the lamb, cover the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over medium-low heat for an hour and a half. (Note: Lamb needs a longer stewing time, so make sure to add enough water at once.)
After an hour and a half, add the white radish, continue stewing until the broth thickens and the white radish is tender, then it’s ready to serve.
