Detailed Steps for Making Whole Wheat Baked Pouch (Oven Version)
Prepare the ingredients; add baking soda and salt to the flour. Heat up the water to 40 degrees Celsius. Add milk and yeast and stir until dissolved.
Add the egg (leave a little egg yolk) and mix well, then pour in the yeast water and knead into a dough.
Knead the dough into this shape and let it ferment for an hour.
Take out the fermented dough and knead it a few times to release the gas. Divide it into pieces of different sizes.
Then push it from the middle to the outside with your hands. Make a dough with a thin middle and thick edges. Use a fork to poke small holes on the surface (I used a knife haha). Put it in the oven and bake for 5 minutes. 210 degrees Celsius for upper and lower heat.
Mix the remaining egg yolk with a little water and brush it on the surface. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Then continue to bake for 10 minutes.
That’s it, it’s done.
