Detailed Steps for Cooking Whole Wheat Buckwheat Steamed Buns
Prepare the ingredients; Dig two holes in the flour (one for baking soda, one for salt, and sugar can also be added if desired). Dissolve the yeast in 35-degree warm water.
Add the yeast water to the flour and knead into a dough.
Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and let it ferment in a warm place for two hours.
Take out the fermented dough and knead it a few times to release the air. Then divide it into several pieces of different sizes. Shake the four sides to make square buns.
I made five buns. Slightly heat up the water and put the buns in to ferment for 10 minutes. Then steam them. I steamed them for 10 minutes. Adjust the time according to the size of your buns.
They are done. The buns are smiling.
