Steps to Make Yaozhu White Cabbage Congee
Prepare white cabbage, Yaozhu, and ginger.
After washing the white cabbage, cut it into small pieces.
Rinse the rice and pour in an appropriate amount of water.
Bring to a boil over high heat.
Stir with a spoon to prevent sticking to the pot.
Add the Yaozhu.
Add the piece of ginger.
Leave a small gap in the lid to prevent spillover, simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, remove the lid.
Add the white cabbage.
Season with oil, salt, and pepper.
Finally, sprinkle with chopped green onions for fragrance, then turn off the heat.
