Steps for making Yogurt Toast
Prepare ingredients: toast flour, egg, plain yogurt, sugar, salt, high-sugar tolerant yeast, and olive oil.
Add 250g toast flour, 40g egg, 120g yogurt, 3g high-sugar tolerant yeast, 2g salt, and 20g sugar to the chef machine.
Finally, add 15g olive oil.
Knead the dough with the chef machine for 15 minutes.
Shape the dough and cover it with a damp cloth for fermentation.
When the dough is fermented enough, it won’t bounce back when you poke it with your finger.
Divide the dough into three equal parts, knead them into balls, and then roll them into long strips.
Fold the two ends of each strip towards the middle.
Place the three folded strips vertically and roll them up from top to bottom.
Put the rolled dough into a toast mold and cover it with a damp cloth for a second fermentation.
When the mold is 80% full, brush the surface with egg liquid and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes. Cover it with tin foil if the color is appropriate in the middle.
